Difference between Total and Tertiary Amine Values: ≤5 mg KOH/g
Performance and Application
Exhibits non-ionic properties in alkaline and neutral media, and cationic properties in acidic media. It has excellent emulsifying and levelling properties, and is stable to acids, alkalis, and hard water. It can be mixed with other ionic active substances in alkaline and neutral solutions.
Used as a levelling agent for wool, linen, silk, and synthetic fibers; increasing the concentration makes it an ideal stripping agent.
As a levelling agent for acid complex dyes, it can reduce the amount of sulfuric acid in the dye bath and minimize tensile strength damage to fabrics.
Serves as a levelling agent for neutral and vat dyes.
Acts as a stripping agent for wool and nylon fabrics, used for stripping and levelling dyeing of wool to improve fabric appearance. In the dyeing and printing of ice dyes, it can enhance the abrasion fastness of fabrics.
