Ionic Characteristics:
Non-ionic in alkaline and neutral media, cationic in acidic media. Exhibits excellent emulsifying and leveling properties. Stable in acids, alkalis, and hard water. Compatible with other ionic surfactants in alkaline/neutral solutions.
Textile Applications:
1. Leveling Agent: For wool, linen, silk, and synthetic fibers. High concentrations act as a stripping agent.
2. Acid Complex Dyes: Reduces sulfuric acid usage in dye baths, minimizing fabric strength loss.
3. Neutral & Vat Dyes: Ensures uniform dye penetration and coloration.
4. Stripping Agent: For wool and nylon fabrics. Improves fabric appearance and enhances abrasion fastness in ice dyeing processes.
