Performance and Application of C1618 Phosphate Ester
As an emulsifying stabilizer in the spinning process of fiber fabrics, the phosphate ester is of great significance, especially under high alkalinity conditions. It is also one of the important components of synthetic fiber finishing agents.
In the papermaking, plastic, and leather industries, the phosphate ester can prevent static accumulation and promote rapid static discharge, thus being widely used as an antistatic agent in highly hydrophobic and hydrophilic systems. Additionally, with its broad resistance to acids, alkalis, and salts, it can be applied in chrome tanning or retanning of leather processing to make chromium salts distribute more evenly in the leather and enhance the combination between chromium salts and leather, showing a "fatliquoring" effect.
In energy and building materials, the phosphate ester is used as an additive for automotive and vehicle fuels to increase the combustion value of oil products and reduce energy consumption. As a stabilizer in polymeric materials, it can be used to prepare phosphate glass and serves as a coupling agent for treating fillers such as calcium carbonate. In processing aids, the phosphate ester is a multi-functional plastic processing aid. Due to its good plasticity, stability, heat resistance, antistatic property, pollution resistance, and transparency, it has been widely applied in plastic products for construction, furniture, mines, conveyor belts, and transportation components.
Furthermore, the phosphate ester has excellent lubricity, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, antistatic property, low friction, emulsification, and anti-welding properties, making it suitable for cutting oils, wire drawing oils, etc. It can also be formulated into oil-soluble and water-soluble emulsions with corrosion inhibition performance.
It is used as an anti-caking raw material for fertilizers.
