Soluble in water, forming milky white solutions. Not resistant to strong acids, alkalis, heavy metal salts, or reducing agents. Features rapid and uniform penetration, along with excellent wetting, penetrating, emulsifying, and foaming properties.
Exhibits optimal penetration below 40℃. Prone to hydrolysis in alkaline solutions at high temperatures. It is recommended to treat fabrics with the penetrant below 40℃ before heating.
Not resistant to strong alkalis. Do not add directly to concentrated alkali solutions; dilute the alkali first before adding Penetrant T.
Specific Applications
Textile Processing: As a high-efficiency penetrant for cotton, linen, viscose, and blended fabrics. After treatment, fabrics can be bleached or dyed without prior scouring, reducing dyeing defects caused by dead cotton and making the fabric feel softer and plumper.
Scouring and Bleaching: For optimal penetration, remove sizing agents from grey fabrics before use.
Foam Control: If excessive foaming occurs, add a small amount of defoamers such as GP, octanol, or tributyl phosphate.
Other Uses: Applied in raw cotton dyeing and as a component for wettable pesticide powders.
Packaging and Storage
Packaging: 200kg iron drums or 50kg plastic drums.
Storage & Transportation: Store and transport as general chemicals.
Storage Conditions: Keep in a dry, ventilated place.
