This product is dispersible in hot water and soluble in common organic solvents, exhibiting excellent emulsifying and lubricating properties.
It shows good emulsifying effect on 58# paraffin. The paraffin emulsion prepared with this product is fine and stable, widely used in fiberboard processing, textile, and paper industries.
Generally, for 58# paraffin, the solid content of the wax emulsion (including paraffin and emulsifier) is 20%-30%, and the emulsifier dosage is 35% of the paraffin amount. For example, to prepare 100Kg of 30% wax emulsion, it requires 70Kg of water, 23Kg of paraffin, and 7Kg of emulsifier.
Preparation Process (for reference):
Heat the measured water to 80-90℃.
Meanwhile, add the measured emulsifier to the measured paraffin, mix, and heat to melt.
Add the mixture to the hot water, stir evenly, keep warm for 10 minutes, and cool to obtain a blue-tinged concentrated emulsion.
Packaging and Storage
Packaging: 200Kg iron drums or 50Kg plastic drums.
Storage & Transportation: Store and transport as general chemicals.
Shelf Life: 2 years. Store in a dry, ventilated place.
