Specification: Performance and Application

S-20

1. Soluble in oils and organic solvents, disperses in water to form a semi-milky liquid.
2. Used as W/O emulsifier, stabilizer, plasticizer, lubricant, and desiccant in pharmaceutical and cosmetic production; as softener, antistatic agent, and finishing agent in the textile industry; as mechanical lubricant; and as an additive-type antifogging agent with good initial and low-temperature antifogging properties, suitable for PVC (1-1.5%), polyolefin films (0.5-0.7%), and EVA films.

S-40

1. Soluble in oils and organic solvents, disperses in hot water.
2. Used as emulsifier and dispersant in food and cosmetics industries; as emulsifying stabilizer in emulsion polymerization; as dispersant in printing inks; as additive for textile waterproof coatings and emulsifying dispersant for oils; widely used as antifogging agent for polymers, such as 1-1.7% in PVC agricultural films and 0.5-0.7% in EVA films.

S-60

1. Insoluble in water, disperses in hot water. It is an excellent W/O emulsifier with strong emulsifying, dispersing, and lubricating properties, and also serves as a good stabilizer and defoamer.
2. Used as emulsifier in the food industry for producing beverages, toffees, ice cream, bread, pastries, malted milk, margarine, chocolate, etc.; as antistatic agent for acrylic fibers and component of soft oiling agents in the textile industry; as emulsifier and stabilizer in food, pesticide, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, coating, and plastic industries; as antifogging agent for PVC, EVA, PE films, etc., with dosage of 1.5-1.8% in PVC and 0.7-1% in EVA.

S-80

1. Sparingly soluble in water, soluble in hot oils and organic solvents. It is a high-grade oil-loving emulsifier.
2. Used in W/O type emulsion explosives, nylon and viscose cord oil agents, providing good smoothing effect on fibers. Applied in emulsification of machinery, coatings, chemicals, and explosives; as emulsifier in petroleum drilling weighted mud; as emulsifier in food and cosmetic production; as dispersant in paint and coating industry; as stabilizer in titanium dioxide production; as insecticide, wetting agent, and emulsifier in pesticide production; as cosolvent in petroleum products; and as rust inhibitor in rust-proof oils. Used as lubricant and softener in textile and leather industries.
3. As a film antifogging agent, it has good initial and low-temperature antifogging properties, with dosage of 1-1.5% in PVC and 0.5-0.7% in polyolefins.

S-85

1. Slightly soluble in isopropanol, tetrachloroethylene, cottonseed oil, etc.
2. Mainly used in pharmaceutical, cosmetics, textile, paint, and petroleum industries as emulsifier, thickener, rust inhibitor, etc.

Packaging and Storage of S-65

• S-20, S-80, and S-85 are packaged in 50Kg plastic drums.
• S-40 and S-60 are packaged in 20Kg woven bags.
• Store and transport as general chemicals.
• Store in a dry, ventilated place.
• Shelf life: 2 years.
