Cationic Surfactant: Readily soluble in water, acetone, butanol, benzene, chloroform, dimethylformamide, dioxane, ethylene glycol, methyl (ethyl or butyl) cellosolve, acetic acid, and water at room temperature. Soluble in carbon tetrachloride, dichloroethane, styrene, etc., at 50°C.
Chemical Stability: Stable in 5% dilute acids and alkalis. Decomposes when heated above 180°C.
Compatibility: Compatible with cationic and nonionic surfactants but should not be used in the same bath as anionic surfactants.
Product Applications
Textile Industry:
Antistatic Agent: Eliminates static electricity during spinning of synthetic fibers such as polyester, nylon, and chlorofiber. Used alone or formulated into aqueous solutions with non-anionic oils and emulsifiers. Recommended dosage: 0.2~0.5% of fiber weight.
Leveling Agent: Used for acrylic fibers.
Alkali Weight Reduction Promoter: Enhances the alkali treatment of polyester silk-like fabrics.
Plastic Industry:
Antistatic Agent: Prevents static buildup on PVC, PE films, and plastic products. Dissolve in a suitable solvent, mix with a small amount of plastic powder, dry, and then blend with the entire batch. Recommended dosage: 0.5~2% of plastic weight.
Other Applications:
Rubber Processing: Antistatic agent for spinning rollers made of nitrile rubber.
Silk Treatment: Eliminates static in real silk.
Asphalt Emulsifier: Used in asphalt emulsification.
Packaging and Storage
Packaging: 45kg plastic drums.
Storage & Transportation: Store and transport as general chemicals.
Storage Conditions: Keep in a dry, ventilated place.
